conservation and sustainable development, with more than 20 years of working experience with conservation organizations, government agencies and international cooperation, with wide experience in different countries of South America.
He has an intensive knowledge on Protected Areas challenges, having worked in most of the national PAs, mainly in the Amboró- Madidi conservation corridor and the Chaco Pantanal region, with a work based on civil society articulation in conservation objectives, through the sustainable use of resources and environmental education and professionalization.
Extensive experience in the development of strategic alliances, projects development based on multi-stakeholder articulation, with indigenous peoples, peasant communities, the private sector and government entities.
The involvement in conservation actions by local communities, through economic incentives and best practices and enabling processes of appropriation of the values of sustainability and conservation has marked a good part of the life experience and the commitment to provide a more future sustainable.
Currently working as an Individual consultant and part time university professor.

Professional background
I have worked on tourism planning for the past 20 years, beeing part of cooperation agencyes, and NGO´s.
Wworked in the national government as a Tourism Viceminister for the Plurinational State of Bolivia, and also as a Unit Chieff of tourism for the municipality of La PAz.
The past 7 years as a consultant have developed a large number of protected areas managment plans, community development plans and tourism product plannning
For the past 15 yeas I have been serving as a University proffesosr for Graduate and undergraduate in different Universities, that inclouds beeing part of the Fulbright Program teaching in the United States as a visiting professor
Skills to share with the consortium
Business PLanning, Protected Area Planning, Comunity development, Climate Change, Economic valuation for tourism, Tourism Policy planning.
